9. Millipore water purification installation

Ø      pre-tratament system

o       structure 5 ion-exchange resins, activated charcoal and absorbent polymer that acts as softener, remove iron and manganese oxides, solid suspension, organic compounds and free chlorine from water. System is equipped with an electronic controller that provides resins regeneration and counter current washing. Flow filter min. 0,5 mc/h. Resins layer regeneration is made with salt solution (brine). Is not allowed to use only one softener.

o       Water purification plant is protected from disruption in drinking water supply or water pressure decrease  on the drinking water network. In this sense, upstream, comes a buffer storage water tank of min. 250 liters, with fully automatic sensor, solenoid control and pressure pump with flow control. To retain the suspension of more than 100 microns, at the filter tank entry will be installed a self-cleaning filter with sieve filtering.

o       Permits to collect purified water both from  a dispenser coupled with a  final capsule of 0,22 microns, and directly from storage tank to supply a downstream ultrapure water generator
